Spec piece. The Giulia was Alfa's answer to a BMW M3 or C63 AMG. But could buyers forego German manufacturers for a newcomer from a country most Americans associate with "Roman Holiday"? They could if we could shatter their prejudices about one of the most badass nations on earth. I wrote a monologue from an imaginary 50s WASP to dramatize just how off US ideas about Italy — and Alfa — really were. Edit by Mark Meyers. Art direction Marco Piedy.
