I was giving a talk at Cannes called "Move over jingles, make way for brand melodies" with DuoTone's David Leindhart and Martin Agency CCO Joe Alexander. The talk was at 10 am, which meant everyone would be hung over. Also nobody knew who I was. So I set the mood with a musical autobiography that told the room what set me on the path to that stage: a catchy Juicy Fruit ad from 1981. Mondial did the graphics and edited the ancient footage. Mad props to whoever wrote the original jingle. You made me bro.
